Hair Care Guide
Hair Care Guide
Raw and virgin curly hair is as close to natural as it gets. With the right care, your extensions or wig will maintain their texture, shine, and longevity for years.
Washing
Wash your hair every 2–3 weeks, or as needed. Use a sulphate-free, moisturising shampoo. Detangle gently from ends to roots before washing. Avoid rubbing — squeeze the shampoo through the hair in a downward motion to protect the curl pattern.
Conditioning
Always follow with a deep conditioner or hair mask. Leave in for at least 15–20 minutes before rinsing. For extra moisture, use a leave-in conditioner after washing.
Drying
Air drying is always best. If you must use heat, apply a heat protectant first and use the lowest setting possible. Avoid wrapping wet hair tightly, as this can disrupt the curl pattern.
Styling
Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to style. Define curls with a curl cream or custard. Avoid products containing alcohol, as these can dry out the hair over time.
Storing
Store your wig on a wig stand when not in use to maintain its shape. Keep extensions in a silk or satin bag to reduce friction. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or humid environments.
Longevity Tips
The better you care for your hair, the longer it will last. Raw and virgin hair can last 2–5 years with proper care. Avoid excessive heat, harsh chemicals, and tight manipulation to preserve the integrity of the hair.
